Cooter Brown Releases Debut Self-Titled Album

Cooter Brown, original Heavy Rock Band from Los Angeles, California, releases debut self-titled album May 13th, 2020. Legendary Producer Bill Metoyer, (Slayer, Armored Saint, Lizzy Borden) who describes Cooter Brown as a “mix between Skynyrd and Sabbath,” Mixed and Mastered the CD. The five-song EP is available both as a digital download and as a hard copy.

Drummer Tom Oz states that “being part of a heavy as f*ck, rockin’ band, this first release is a representation of now and the future.”

MBM Music LLC CEO Alison Masson is happy to support this solid heavy rock album that fans of rock and metal will definitely enjoy. In addition, she is honored and thankful that Cooter Brown used the lyrics she wrote with Grant Masson for “Goodbye To Them,” which is a song about leaving your past behind to follow your dreams.

Vocalist Robert Cruz continues, “For me, this recording represents an incredible time in my life in which I had the opportunity to create something wonderful with such good friends. I hope the storytelling of the songwriting and the musical arrangements move you as they do me. It’s been a long strange trip indeed…”

Bass player Scottiey Kessler shows his love for the band and the album by saying “The guys in Cooter Brown are my brothers, and I love them very dearly. I’m very proud of the music we’ve created and am ecstatic that Bill Metoyer Mixed the album. We made one hell of a CD!”

Guitarist Grant Masson considers this a mark of a point in time, which has been a long time coming. He is happy to have these heavy tunes cemented in history.
